Lord, You are Patience.
Forgive me, Lord, when I am like a stubborn child, and sometimes pull in the opposite direction of my good. Forgive me when I rebel against the path you have laid out for me and go my own way.
Thank you, Lord, your loving care to every detail in my life. Thank you for bringing me back when I go astray. Thank you, Lord, for having patience with me. Lead me on the path you have chosen. Lead me on paths of righteousness for your name’s sake.
I know that without His patience and gentle guidance, I would forever be on the wrong path. Without His patience and gentle insistence, I would be forever going from mistake to mistake. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
